Booking with Padrecocha Tours
Deposit and Payment of balance:
A 30% deposit per person is required to confirm your trip booking. This deposit will be deducted from your final balance. We will send an email with a safe Link to pay the 30% deposit using any major credit /debit card. A 5% tariff will be applied for card processing cost.
The 70% cost balance must be paid by credit /debit card at least 24 hours before the tour start, 5% tariff will be applied for card processing cost. Another option is to pay in cash at Padrecocha Tours office. Torn, wrinkled, stained, or ripped banknotes are not accepted. Banknotes must be in perfect condition.
The deposit is refundable in accordance with our cancellation and refund policy outlined below.
Travel with Confidence
Postponement Policy:
Padrecocha Tours accepts postponements to any date within 12 months of the booking date, without limitation or penalty, subject to availability.
Cancellation & Refunds
- 30 Days or Less Before Trip Start Date:
All cancellations are non-refundable but are eligible for trip postponement under the terms of our postponement policy. - 31 Days or More Before Trip Start Date:
Cancellations made 31 or more days before the trip start date are eligible for a 75% refund. All costs associated with the refund are the responsibility of the customer. Postponing the trip according to our postponement policy is also an option. - Once the tour or program has started, if the client wishes to cancel it, there is no refund and the cost of returning to the city, which may include payments for calls, river and land transport, food and hotels, must be borne by the client.
Responsibilities
Padrecocha Tours does not accept responsibility for any losses or issues arising from:
- Flight operations, including cancellations, delays, or lost luggage.
- Trip cancellations caused by illness, political unrest, natural disasters, or other force majeure events beyond our control as a tour operator.
Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend that all travelers purchase comprehensive travel insurance to protect against issues with airlines, illness, political unrest, natural disasters, or any other unforeseen events.
Guest Code of Conduct
All guests are expected to adhere to a code of conduct that demonstrates respect for local cultures, the environment, wildlife, staff, and fellow guests. Violations may result in immediate removal from the property without refund or legal consequences.
- Respect and Behavior Toward Others:
- Our staff treats all guests with respect and kindness. Guests are expected to reciprocate this respect toward staff, native people, and fellow travelers.
- Abusive behavior, including the use of vulgar or offensive language, will not be tolerated and may result in removal without refund. In Peru, the use of abusive language can constitute a criminal misdemeanor.
- Wildlife and Ethical Standards:
- We do not permit the handling or disturbance of wildlife in their natural habitats. If your goal is to interact directly with wildlife for personal photos, this trip may not be suitable for you.
- Prohibited Activities:
- Soliciting drugs, sex, or other unethical demands from staff or indigenous people is strictly forbidden and will result in immediate removal from the property and possible legal action.
- Inappropriate Behavior:
- Inappropriate or illegal behavior will result in your immediate removal from the property without a refund and, if necessary, the filing of a criminal complaint.
- Assumption of Risk:
- Guests acknowledge that wilderness travel carries inherent risks. By booking, you agree to release Padrecocha Tours and its employees from any liability for harm, injury, illness, or death during your trip.
- Dispute Resolution:
- All interactions, transactions and potencial disputes will fall under Peru’s legal jurisdiction. By using our services, you agree to submit to the jurisdictions of Peruviana courts.
Final Agreement
By booking with Padrecocha Tours, you agree to the following:
- To be bound by these Terms and Conditions and any additional terms specific to your booking arrangements.
- Image Using Rights: Participating in our tours allow us to capture and use images, photos, and videos taken during the trip for promotional and marketing purposes (brochures, and social media,etc.) This use do not entail financial or other coménsations. If you do not want us to use your images, notify us via Email before the trip begins.
- The lead passenger is responsible for ensuring that all group members have read and understood these Terms and Conditions.
- Padrecocha Tours reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Continued use of our services after such modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
If you do not agree to any part of these terms, please refrain from booking with Padrecocha Tours.

By submitting payment for your trip, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions.
