The Tamshiyacu Tahuayo Regional Conservation Area is a protected zone in Loreto, Peru, covering over 4,200 km². Established in 2009, it preserves diverse ecosystems of floodable and upland rainforests. The region is home to numerous species of mammals, birds, fish, and reptiles, many of which are endangered or endemic. Managed by the Loreto Regional Government, it promotes sustainable use of wildlife by local communities. Visitors can explore wildlife through activities like hiking, camping, bird watching, and fishing.

The Tamshiyacu Tahuayo Regional Conservation Area (ACRCTT) supports an estimated 2,500–3,500 plant species, with notable trees like cedar and mahogany. A 2003 survey by the Chicago Field Museum documented diverse wildlife: 240 fish species, 77 amphibians, 45 reptiles, 400 birds, and 39 mammals, including 14 primate species. Further research increased these numbers to over 600 bird species, 110 terrestrial mammals, and at least 16 primate species. Wildlife includes red bald uakari, pink dolphins, jaguars, harpy eagles, and giant river otters.

The Tamshiyacu Tahuayo Regional Conservation Area (ACRCTT) can be visited year-round, with peak tourist season from June to August. Activities include wildlife observation through boating, hiking, camping, and bird watching, especially in this biodiversity hotspot.
